Little article on
the solar powered stage at Sasquatch – which was partly powered with a Hybrid S10 Mobile Solar Power System provided through Hollywood Lights.
We were proud to support IgnitedUSA last week in providing pure power to a fleet of 15 new plug-in Prius vehicles for Toyota.

The event, held under seasonably overcast Southern California skies (aka “June Gloom”) required each Hybrid S10 Mobile Solar Power Systems to recharge 5 Prius for fleet managers to view, assess and test-drive, over a period of 2 days.
Did we say Overcast? Not so fast: what seems to most to be overcast skies looks positively bright to a solar panel, and our Hybrid S10s calmly and quietly recharged the Prius (Priuses? Prii?) easy-as-you-please.
Pure Power sent a driver/operator skilled in both the navigational and power-providing arts to ensure that all the vehicles were properly charged and ready to go. Mission accomplished – and wouldn’t you agree, there’s something poetic about the vision of 15 Prius cars being charged with pure solar power?
~ IgnitedUSA, by the way, is a marketing innovations agency chock full of big brain rock stars – check them out here http://www.ignitedusa.com ~
Toyota, when you hold your next plug-in Prius rally, we are expecting a call for more pure power.

Bakersfield, California May 20, 2010: Pure Power Distribution provided Hybrid Mobile Solar Power Systems(TM) to power food vendors near the finish line of Stage 5 of the Amgen Tour of California on Thursday. Pure Power provided a pair of its unique Hybrid solar generators that flawlessly powered 7 food vendor trucks with silent, clean, emission-free solar power. The versatile and powerful Hybrid Systems were on lease to Pure Energy Solar, a rooftop solar company in Bakersfield, which the company bannered and stickered with its own bright orange logos.
Although 7-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong was injured in a crash and pulled out of the race earlier,
Stage 5 featured a tight and colorful peloton coursing through the heart of California’s farm country, and a sprint finish won by Peter Sagan of the Team Liquigas Domo.
