Since you’ve bee
n reading and watching so diligently, we’re sure you saw the video about the Tour De Fat in Austin Texas last month – - the after party at night was powered using traditional grid power because a) it was night, b) the party was BIG and needed a lot of power.
But here’s good news – - Pure Power was a sponsor, along with Paramount Pictures, Blackwelder, Shangri LA Construction and other power players in the green space, of the star-studded fundraiser for the Environmental Charter School fundraising event at Blackwelder Studios last week on hybrid solar power.
We’re guessing a few hundred people attended in support of the school, which has operated for 10 years, and boasts – get this – over 95% of its students get into college.
Pure Power ran the step-and-repeat wall (massive lighting) with solar, and the main event with a Hybrid S10 System for about 8 hours straight – music, lights, events, microphones, projectors.
It was a terrific event for a terrific cause, and our good friend Nicole Landers deserves a lot of credit for making it a big success!
