			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Much is made in the sustainability press and blogosphere about the environmental bottom line. In the Elkington taxonomy of financial, social and environmental benefits, the second bottom line often takes a back seat to the environmental. At minimum, second bottom line benefits are challenging to accurately quantify, and often point to issues that are not easily solved by a project, a product, or even a company.</p>
