Pure Power Teams with Preferred Pump

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

PPE Logo (Blue) 3Pure Power Distribution is proud to announce its new relationship with Preferred Pump, one of the nation’s largest and most trusted wholesale distributors of domestic water systems. Over the last 25 years, thousands of water well drillers, farmers and ranchers, pump installers, dealers, and contractors have turned to Preffered Pump for the highest quality equipment and service.

So we were particularly proud last week to be hosted by Preferred Pump at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. This is the largest annual Agricultural expo in the world, with representatives from 72 countries at the show. Pure Power and Preferred Pump were a great combo for the hundreds of visitors to the booth, where we showed two types of Mobile Solar Power Systems(TM), the S48T and the Hybrid S10, taking turns powering a 10 hp pump.PUMP 2

The “48″ is the world’s largest Mobile Solar Power System, and has a 72,000 watt / 600 Amp capacity. The operator can move its panels to track the sun via electronic elevators – imagine moving banks of solar panels catching the sunlight -  a very cool “wave” that brought visitors every time we moved them.

Not exaggerating about the hundreds of visitors – with up to 10 Preferred Pump and Pure Power people fielding questions from 8 to 5 each day of the show, we easily spoke to over a hundred each day.

Most common complaint: “I’m tired of paying that utility check every month, and it’s about to go up again.”

This relationship is off to a great start!

Pure Power is pleased to announce that the hit CBS series “Criminal Minds” is using a Mobile Solar Power System to power a portion of its production. The move into clean renewable power is just another reason why the award-winning show is head and shoulders above the rest.

Pure Power Builds Its Most Powerful Mobile Solar Power System™ to date

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

Pure Power Distribution of Santa Monica, California (www.PurePowerD.com) has announced that it has designed and built its most powerful Mobile Solar Power System™ to date, the S-48T, in time to provide power for some of the current filming of the latest Warner Bros. film. The S-48T provides 600 Amps of clean solar power for 12 hours, enough to power the entire base camp.

“This is a huge day for renewable energy,” said Norris Lozano, CEO of Pure Power, “There are very few work environments that need as much power as feature films, and this new unit can deliver 600 Amps (72,000 Watts) with a single driver/operator.”

Avoiding a ton a day of CO2

Pure Power’s customers care deeply about reducing the carbon footprint of their projects. Over a 50 day shoot, a solar system can avoid 50 tons of CO2 by not using traditional portable diesel generators.  Solar generated power can cut the CO2 output by 90%.

The S-48T measures 48 feet in length; needs a single driver/operator, and can provide feature films, TV productions, music performances and special events with silent, clean energy with no emissions. It can be plugged into the base camp system in cases of extreme load.

WakeJam PDX gets PurePowerD

Friday, July 31st, 2009

If you find yourself in Portland, Oregon this weekend, get down to the River for WAKE JAM PDX. Not only will you see some of the best boarders, bikers and music available this summer, BUT you’ll also see one of our new Super 10 Mobile Solar Power Systems in action.  pic2

The Super 10 will be providing pure solar power directly adjacent to the Main Stage (if the huge solar panels don’t catch your attention, just find the banner that says POWERING CHANGE). Ask for Dave Watson – he’ll show you around.

WAKE JAME PDX will be remembered as a landmark application of mobile solar power: thousands will attend the two-day event to enjoy the competition, eat, enjoy the music and dance … and our solar system will be providing up to 18,000 Watts continuous power – with No Fumes, No Noise, and No Emissions into the glorious Oregon skies.
