Sierra Nevada Brewing Company has added another layer in its super-sustainable brand with its new mobile festival beer service vehicle. What’s green about a truck, you ask? The new custom rooftop solar array designed and installed by Pure Power. It’s another way that Sierra Nevada is aggressively reducing its carbon footprint (check out the “environment” section of their website and prepare to be amazed).

The new vehicle can be seen at festivals and other fun events this summer, where the Pure Power solar array is powering the refrigerators inside. Those refrigerators are typically powered with diesel generators.

Because solar provides power with no noise, no fumes and no emissions, those Sierra Nevada brews are going to taste extra-clean.
